Engineering is four year degree course which is totally based on technical knowledge.In 4 years course there are total 40 subjects (each year 10 subjects),Many practical,submissions many thing student have to do to became a successful engineer it is one of the toughest field for education which is totally based on technical knowledge.
If you have to interest in technical knowledge learning then you have take admission to engineering after 12th.
Requirement 
12th pass with pcm group
good marks in entrance exam.
Is there is no scope in engineering to get best jobs
These questions arises many time when a student complete is 12th and go for engineering degree and some relatives or friends or many people said him there is no scope in engineering so please do not take admission to engineering. this is very bad for the student because of totally wrong guidance from other people we do not see what is reality.Yes there are many engineers in india they have no jobs.but the student which is really intelligent in technical knowledge who done his/her engineering with good marks see them were are he/her know they are became very successfull. 
In future engineering has became best field to get jobs .Because we are know that day by day there number of student to take admission to engineering is decreasing many colleges also get stopped due to no any admission in college this is very serious issue which really matter in future because Numbers of engineers are decreases day by day so in future engineering is best course to get perfect job.
Serious issue is that government colleges admission sits are also remaining vacant.
According to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), nearly 200 'substandard' engineering colleges have applied for closure. AICTE wants to close down about 800 engineering colleges across India.
